Air Switching Valve
The V-6137 Air Switching Valve
is designed to switch the flow of
air from one air line to another.
The valve functions as a selector
or diverter. This fast acting twoposition
switching mechanism
can be used in a variety of
switchover applications.
Operation
The V-6137 valve is designed to
switchover between 15 and
19 PSIG (105 and 133 kPa).
The switchover point on a
pressure increase is
approximately 2 PSI (14 kPa)
greater than the switchover point
on a pressure decrease.
With up to 15 PSIG to the
actuator, the C (Common) and
N.O. (Normally Open) ports are
directly connected while the N.C.
(Normally Closed) port exhausts
through the upper exhaust port.
At 19 PSIG, the C and N.C.
ports are connected and the
N.O. port exhausts through the
lower exhaust port.
Mounting
The V-6137 valve is furnished
with an integral mounting
bracket for surface mounting in
any position. All air connections
are made with 5/32 or 1/4 in.
O.D. polytubing to barbed fittings
provided on the device.
Note:
Do not attempt to rotate the
actuator.
