The P-5275 Differential Pressure
Transmitter measures differential
pressure, converts the
measurement into a proportional3 to 15 PSIG (21 to 105 kPa)
output signal, and transmits the
signal to a pneumatic receivercontroller
or indicator.
Two models of the P-5275 are
available. The P-5275-1 has an
operating differential pressure
range of 0 to 50 PSI (0 to
350 kPa) and the P-5275-2 has
an operating differential pressure
range of 0 to 100 PSI (0 to
700 kPa). Regardless of the
model chosen, either unit can be
used to sense the differential in a
wide variety of input mediums
including water, steam, air, or oil.The P-5275 is a non-relay (low
volume) output device which
requires an external .005 in.
restrictor installed at the
transmitter. All air connections
are 1/8 in. NPT; A
sheet metal mounting bracket is
integral with the transmitter body.
Installation
The P-5275 is designed for
surface mounting in any position
on any comparatively vibrationfree
surface using the integral
mounting bracket and two #8
sheet metal screws (field
furnished). The transmitter can
also be self-supported in
applications where the high and
low input connections are
screwed onto a rigid pipe.
